Texas Instrument Electronic Malaysia (TIEM2) – LEED CxA (ongoing)

Texas Instruments (TI) has been established in Malaysia for the past 52 years and is renowned for its significant contributions to the country’s electrical and electronics industry. As a pioneer in Malaysia’s electronics sector, TI innovates and engineers’ solutions to provide leading semiconductor products and packaging technology, delivering value to its customers and contributing to a better world. For this factory that located at Ayer Keroh, Melaka, they aim to get certified as LEED GOLD.

Blue Snow is involved as LEED Commissioning Authority in the project. The Commissioning Authority (CxA) in LEED is responsible for ensuring that building systems are designed, installed, and function according to the owner’s requirements and the project design. They oversee the entire commissioning process, which includes verifying and documenting that the performance of facilities, systems, and assemblies meet defined objectives and criteria. The CxA works closely with the design and construction teams to review designs, inspect installations, and conduct performance testing to ensure the project achieves optimal energy efficiency, sustainability, and occupant comfort.
