Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reporting & Verification

Green-House Gas Accounting

Annually we collectively emit around 50 billion tonnes of CO2each year and it is predicted to increase if left unchecked. This is more than 40% higher than emissions in 1990, which were around 35 billion tonnes. In an effort to address climate change, numerous voluntary and regulatory greenhouse gas (GHG) programs are implemented.

This creates a challenge for companies to become more aware of climate change and its issues. One of the most often required measures is to report their carbon footprint.

The ISO 14064 method of GHG reporting provides an internationally recognised and accepted standard for GHG reporting. This in return will provide assurance to companies and their respective stake holders.
